His Love IS All Around Us

Another gorgeous day here in Alaska on 9.28.2021! Wow!

Sun shine and blue skies to bring such comfort to my soul!

Morning temps hovered in the low 20’s and got up to the low 40’s by the afternoon. How grateful I have for 3 consecutive days with blue skies and sunshine! Wow! Our God, He is so DIVINE!

Let me share with you something special my attention was brought to today. The clouds first caught my attention after walking out with my students to the playground. Above the school I saw what looked to be a swan going by.

As we walked across the playground, ice covered the ground. As I looked closer at the pattern in the ice, I saw the letter C.

I became fascinated with how the ice had frozen, so I walked around looking at it from another angle and the letter J appeared to me.

Let me tell you something…

God, He really knows how to grab my attention! I am so grateful for His loving spirit in me. He must be trying to help me understand, see something with the signs and messages He was giving me.

In awe of such magnificent views, I was doing my best to take it all in and appreciate. The ice on the ground, now that’s hard to resist stepping on, listening to the different sounds it makes depending on it’s thickness. For some reason, that feels so satisfying (and I really don’t quite know why.)

Fascinated by the way the light shines on the broken pieces of ice, I felt the need to pick some up and hold up for the rays of sunlight to shine through.

The first piece of ice looked as if it was shaped in a heart. How beautiful God’s love is for us!

The next piece I found had a letter on it. Immediately, I saw the letter F inscribed on the bottom. As I look again, I see how the letter F can also be the letter T.

God most certainly must be reminding me to have FAITH and TRUST in Him always!

Not only do I hear His voice, but He writes letters and draws pictures for me! What an amazing Father He is, finding His own way to communicate with me!

When I took the picture, I didn’t happen to see. If you look closely enough in this picture, you will see the number 3.

How incredible!

My favorite number!

Symbolic of the Holy Trinity!

Father, Son, Holy Spirit

As we walked around the school, He drew my attention in the sky again. I had forgotten I wanted to get a better look at my swan before it swam by.

The swan was there, looking up to God.

Great idea! Keep my head up! Keep my sights on Him. Next to the swan lay another set of wings. Stay close and be comforted in me.

The time had now come for lunch break. Imagine my excitement, anticipation of wanting to get outside, take it all in and see what messages He may have for me once more.

Another letter appeared as I walked out the doors. He showed me the letter C in the sky.

What is the significance of the letter C today, I thought to myself. He must be trying to tell me something really important.

Going around the block, I noticed these cute little clouds in the sky. Looked like the letter J written a few times sideways.

Now that’s one way to get me to look at things from a new perspective!

As I continued on my walk, the letter C now turned in to the letter S. More clouds came together at precisely the right moment to create this formation.

I smiled a big smile and thought to myself, I’ve been shown letters in Jesus Christ’s name. How cool would that be if His whole name would be spelled out in the clouds? Incredible, right! Well, I didn’t see all letters of His name while I was on the playground or going for my walk, but He most certainly let me know He was with me at all times.

How great His love! One cannot deny His presence and existence in our lives! Look at the beauty He presented to us this day!

May your days be blessed!

Hello and welcome, I am so glad we have crossed paths! It’s no accident you are here! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by, notice and read. As a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher (and so much more), I see the world through my lens. From the way I was raised, to every experience, moment, and circumstance in life, has shaped the way I think and see the world. For several years now, I have been walking more closely with God, getting to know Him, how He speaks to me and through me. He has given me the ability to write, a way to express how I am feeling and what I am going through. This has been a beautiful, crazy kind of journey where much healing is taking place. A time where I need to offer myself up some grace and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and commitment to creating a better version of myself. I am learning how to work through and release old trauma, healing, shedding old layers of myself, accepting and embracing my true and authentic self. Getting to know the new me has been quite foreign, especially when the old wants to cling to what is familiar, old habits and mindsets. Writing has been my saving grace (and photography is right up there too). An outlet, a way to release, a way to pause, reflect and see there is more than what my mind is leading me to believe. God’s word, His voice is there. When I keep Him first, above all things, I’ve realized things work out for my greater good, my higher purpose. I hope you enjoy and find words of wisdom you can relate to!
